Firearm Transfers & Fees
Firearm Transfer services are conducted on an appointment only basis. Arrangements must be made in advance to schedule an appointment window.
Private party transfer fees are $19.50 plus $10.50 for the Colorado background check fee imposed by the State.
Transfer fees for online purchases from dealers other than Check 6 Arms are $24.50 plus $10.50 for the Colorado background check fee imposed by the State.
Shipping & Delivery
Shipping is based on shipping carrier rates (USPS, UPS, FED-EX). Most items are drop shipped via one of our multiple distributors. As a result, shipping methods may be subject to change from what customer has selected to ensure better service. All shipments can be expected to ship out between 2 - 7 working days unless the item is out of stock or back ordered. Free ground shipping for orders over $500.
All firearms must be shipped to a FFL dealer. We do not automatically ship to your selected FFL dealer without first verifying that they do accept firearm transfers and that they have a valid FFL. This process can take anywhere from 1 hour to 3 days depending on your chosen FFL dealer's response time.
Privacy & Security
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.
Returns & Replacements

We do not accept returns or exchanges on any firearms for defects. You will need to contact the manufacturer of the firearm in question if there is a defect. All firearms sold by Check 6 Arms are new and unfired unless noted and sold as used.

Although highly unlikely, if you receive an item that is different from the item you purchased, please contact us via email at with your order number and the details of the product you received. Further instructions will be provided if item is to be returned and/or exchanged.

Upon receipt of the returned product, we will fully examine it and notify you via e-mail, within a reasonable period of time, whether you will receive a refund or a replacement as a result of the incorrect item being shipped. If you are entitled to a replacement or refund, we will replace the product or refund the purchase price, using the original method of payment.

Refunds do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by you. You are responsible for any loss or damage to hardware during shipment. We cannot not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. We highly recommend shipping with a trusted carrier that utilizes package tracking and pay the extra $4 for a signature upon delivery. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions
We accept online payments using the following credit cards:

For payment of purchases on our premise via arrangements made in advanced, we will also accept cash and check in addition to the above methods.
Pricing on products is subject to change based on availability or for promotional purposes.
Due to manufacturer rules on pricing, we cannot advertise below MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) on many items. Sometimes a manufacturer will allow a 'MAP Holiday' for a limited time that allows us to advertise below MAP.
Special promotions may be in effect at any given time and not advertised on our webpage. To find out what current promotions are happening, please subscribe to our newsletter at the bottom of the page or when you are checking out.
Viewing Orders
You can view your orders by clicking on the 'Order Status' link at the bottom of the webpage and entering your order number. Or if you have already created a Check 6 Arms customer account, by logging into your account and clicking on the 'My Orders' link on the left hand column.
Updating Account Information
You can update your account information, such as email, phone, address, logging into your Check 6 Arms account and clicking on the 'Edit' link.
